This project involves the restructuring of an abandoned industrial building, located in Pray, Italy. The recovery of the existing structure allows the creation of new housing units. The main building, typical of the nineteenth century industrial architecture, presents an austere but very interesting aspect with its particular articulation of the openings and configuration of the large and bright interior space. 

The project establishes a dialogue between the characteristics of the built environment and the exterior aspect of the building itself. The establishment of a new image for the building involves the installation of passageways and external balconies which give access to all the accommodations while articulating the facade. This spatial arrangement keeps all interior spaces, which are totally dedicated to housing, intact.

Particular attention to contemporary lifestyles led to the development of housing distributed on two floors andextended intoa garden on the ground floor and first floor. All units have an independent access and a private entrance area.
